Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver school-based OT services to children across Long Island and NYC.

You will perform evaluations, track progress, and provide targeted therapy aligned with each child’s IEP in a collaborative setting with families, teachers, and other clinicians. The role requires an ACOTE-accredited OT degree, NBCOT initial registration, and an active NY OT license.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Must have initial NBCOT registration.
• Must hold a valid and unencumbered OT license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Performs evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Occupational Therapy services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
