Qualifications

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist for school-based settings.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and community members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ physical abilities, including pediatric-focused assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized goals to improve mobility, strength, coordination and independence.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and the child study team.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
• Participate in professional development and training as required.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
