Job summary

Invo Company is looking for dedicated Occupational Therapists to join our school-based services team in Dekalb, IL. As a therapist, you will work with students, evaluate their needs, and help them achieve educational goals, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Have active state-level licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Hold a master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate disorders and delays that affect students’ ability to perform daily activities.
• Develop/improve individual's ability to independently perform tasks.
• Serve as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team.
• Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan.
• Maintain appropriate records.
• Work in coordination with school personnel and parents.
• Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents.
• Perform other OT duties/responsibilities.
• Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws.
