Interim HealthCare of NEPA is seeking a School Based Home Health Aide (HHA) to attend school and provide in-home support for students with special needs in the Tunkhannock, PA area. Must have pediatric experience and experience with Down syndrome/Autism.

The role involves hands-on personal care, reporting changes, and following care plans within Pennsylvania state laws and HIPAA standards. 1:1 care and daily school-based duties are included.

Formación

• Must have one year experience with Pediatrics.
• Must have one year experience working with Special Needs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Attend school with a pediatric client who has a special need.
• Provide hands-on personal care and report changes.
• Follow care plan and maintain proper documentation.
• Follow HIPAA standards.
• Deliver safe, quality care in home and school settings.
