Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care in Point Pleasant, PA is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. The RT will provide specialized pediatric respiratory support, manage ventilator care, and contribute to individualized care plans for medically complex residents.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nurses, physicians, and rehab staff, with a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and a weekly 12-hour shift, along with new shift premium opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered state Respiratory Therapist license.
• CPR certification from AHA or equivalent.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess ventilator and respiratory needs and evaluate clients.
• Consult with physicians and update care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per care plan.
• Wean ventilators and support respiratory rehabilitation as ordered.
• Document care, progress, and any deviations per policy.
• Train staff and families on respiratory equipment and procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety in all tasks.
