Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital is seeking a skilled pediatric RN to join the 10P Medical Surgical Unit. The role focuses on care for children 0-18 with neurosurgical, trauma, orthopedic, and cystic fibrosis diagnoses in a 26-bed inpatient floor.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of inpatient nursing experience or 6 months if entering the New Grad residency program, plus an RN license in the practicing state. BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care following established standards, policies and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
