Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide pediatric home health care for patients with tracheostomies and/or ventilators in a home setting. This role emphasizes focused, one-on-one care in the home, enabling you to apply clinical judgment confidently.

You will deliver skilled nursing, build stable relationships with children and families, and follow physician orders. Experience with trach care, ventilator management, and pediatric high-acuity care is preferred; training

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and/or ventilators, or willingness to train.
• TB Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF).
• Alzheimer's training – 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided if needed).
• DOEA Alzheimer's Training resources provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused, one-on-one pediatric home health nursing.
• Care for patients with trach or vent, following care plans and physician orders.
• Collaborate with families and physicians to ensure safety and continuity of care.
• Maintain documentation and follow CDC safety guidelines in every home.
