Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Framingham, MA. The RN will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, with pre-visit and post-visit telephonic support and patient education.

Location is Framingham, MA; Per Diem schedule, Monday through Friday with a rotating schedule between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. EPIC EMR experience is preferred and licensing in MA is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Massachusetts.
• Proven knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provides effective patient care directly to patients or through telephone management.
• Documents all aspects of patient care and patient education; reports to physician.
• Ensures nursing judgments and plan are based on physical and psychosocial needs.
• Identifies emergency situations and initiates appropriate nursing orders/interventions.
• Manages care of the patient according to standards of care and collaborates with the healthcare team.
• Incorporates organizational policies, procedures, and protocols into patient care delivery.
• Completes all nursing/clinical educational competencies.
