Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatrics unit on a full-time night shift. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, coordinate care, and ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role requires collaboration with physicians and other clinicians to implement care plans and maintain continuity of care. Minimum qualifications include a Nursing degree and RN licensure with BLS; additional certifications such as ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required (BLS required).
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on shift, weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessment, planning and care interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
