Job summary

Baptist Health in central Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse for Pediatrics on a part-time, first-shift schedule. The RN will supervise nursing personnel on shift, perform patient assessments, plan care, and coordinate interventions to ensure quality, continuous care, and collaboration with physicians.

Requires Nursing degree, RN license, BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on area. Opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team and engage in infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning and implementation.
• Other duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
