Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, Florida seeks a Pediatric Registered Nurse for full-time night shift to deliver high-quality nursing care to neonates, children, and adolescents. You will lead assessments, administer medications and therapies, and partner with families to plan care.

Required are RN licensure and BLS; PALS preferred. You’ll work in a faith-based organization that extends the healing ministry of Christ, with comprehensive benefits from day one and a strong team ethos.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, skills, and abilities include communication, delegation, coordination, evaluation, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows-based programs.
• Participation in CORE program for nurses providing primary pediatric care; post-hire may be offered.

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality improvement activities and reports concerns regarding patient care quality.
• Formulates, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans for patients based on identified needs.
• Provides therapeutic nursing care for neonates, children, and adolescents per standards.
• Administers IVs, medications, and performs treatments according to nursing standards.
