Job summary

Riverside Care of Florida, LLC is hiring pediatric RNs and LPNs for private duty/home health across Hillsborough, Manatee, and Polk Counties. You will provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care to medically complex children in the home setting, with autonomy and a patient-centered approach.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of pediatric nursing experience, strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation, and a compassionate demeanor to support families and caregivers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Private Duty / Home Health

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are passionate about pediatric care to join our growing team. This position focuses on providing skilled, one-on-one nursing care to medically complex children in the home setting across Hillsborough, Manatee, and Polk Counties.

This is an ideal opportunity for nurses who value building meaningful relationships, practicing with autonomy, and delivering truly patient-centered care in a low-ratio environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide continuous, skilled nursing care in the home environment

• Manage and monitor complex pediatric conditions with attention to detail

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered

• Perform ongoing assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and patient response

• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care

• Support families by reinforcing care plans and providing education

Pediatric Skills & Experience Required

• Tracheostomy care and suctioning

• Ventilator management (or willingness to train)

• G-tube / J-tube feeding and medication administration

• Seizure monitoring and intervention

• Medication administration including injections

• Airway management and respiratory assessment

• Experience with developmental and neurological conditions preferred

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with active insurance

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Recent statement of health, including TB screening

• Ability to travel to assigned cases
