Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric homecare for medically complex patients in the Orlando area.

English proficiency is required; bilingual candidates (Spanish/Creole) are strongly encouraged to apply. Travel to patient homes in Orange County is expected as part of flexible, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN or LPN license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Pediatric nursing experience, preferably with medically complex patients.
• Ability to pass a Level II background check.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes within Orange County.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care per the patient’s individualized plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Assist with rehabilitation activities that promote development of daily living and social skills.
• Provide personal care including bathing, oral hygiene, hair care, nail care, dressing, and diapering.
• Reposition, transfer, and assist patients with mobility and elimination needs.
• Administer medications orally, subcutaneously, intravenously, or through feeding tubes.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and medications.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Assist with reviewing medication administration records (MAR).

Job Overview

We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric homecare for medically complex patients. Nurses will work closely with patients and families while delivering high-quality skilled nursing care in the home setting under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about pediatric care and comfortable working with medically fragile children in a homecare environment.

Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. English is required. Spanish and Creole are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Tracheostomy care
• Tube feeding (G-tube / feeding tubes)
• Wound care
• Oxygen therapy / oxygen-dependent patients
• Neurological disorders including seizure management
• IV therapy
