Job summary

Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division, seeking compassionate RNs and LPNs for two private duty pediatric cases in Wayne and Franklin Lakes, NJ. These roles offer steady hours, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to provide meaningful 1:1 care.

You will provide comprehensive 1:1 nursing care, including trach/vent and g-tube support, with an emphasis on safety, comfort, and family‑centered collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN or LPN license.
• Preferred pediatric trach/vent or g-tube experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Physical exam within 12 months.
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years).
• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and daily needs.
• Perform trach care, suctioning, vent monitoring, and g-tube feeding (Wayne case).
• Assist with afternoon routines and safe transportation (Franklin Lakes case).
• Monitor respiratory status, equipment, and overall well‑being.
• Collaborate with the family and our pediatric clinical leadership team to ensure consistent, high‑quality care.

Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division and seeking compassionate, skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for two supportive, family‑centered pediatric cases in Wayne and Franklin Lakes, NJ. These roles offer steady hours, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to provide meaningful 1:1 care.

Available Cases

Wayne, NJ – 16‑Hour Pediatric Case

Provide comprehensive 1:1 care for a medically complex pediatric patient requiring:

• G‑tube feeds

• Tracheostomy care

• Ventilator management

• Wheelchair‑bound support

• Full‑day monitoring and comfort‑focused care

Shift:

• 16‑hour shifts available (daytime + evening coverage)

Franklin Lakes, NJ – Afternoon Pediatric Case

Support a pediatric patient requiring safe, reliable afternoon care and transportation.

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

• Afternoon/PM coverage

• Transport support until 7 PM

• Consistent routine with a supportive family

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and daily needs

• Perform trach care, suctioning, vent monitoring, and g‑tube feeding (Wayne case)

• Assist with afternoon routines and safe transportation (Franklin Lakes case)

Pay Rates

• RN: $45/hr

• LPN: $40/hr

What You Bring

• Active New Jersey RN or LPN License

• Preferred pediatric trach/vent or g‑tube experience
