Job summary

Children's National Hospital is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for our outpatient settings across Takoma, Annapolis, and Prince George's County. The role spans 7:30am–5:30pm with a four-shift monthly commitment and seasonal holiday coverage.

The work supports Magnet-designated standards and high-quality pediatric care within a family-centered model. Minimum education is a BSN with at least 2 years of RN experience and a DC/MD/VA license, plus CPR.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience required.
• BSN from an approved school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in DC, MD, or VA depending on location; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with scope of practice and policy.
• Maintain knowledge base with updates in specialty area.
• Demonstrate professional, evidence-based practice and safe patient care.
