Job summary

The Detroit Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Pool to support pediatric care within the DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan. You will contribute to patient care, collaborate with the care team, and help ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are Michigan-licensed RNs with AHA BLS certification; BSN is preferred. The role offers a flexible, rotating schedule with part-time hours to support patient needs

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates and evaluates patient care within nursing team.
• Coordinates patient care activities and discharge planning.
• Monitors patient progress and ensures readiness for discharge.
• Participates in shared decision-making with senior unit management.
