Job summary

Beyond Care Pediatrics is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for patients in a clinic setting. You will create individualized care plans, observe and communicate in the patient’s best interest, and document health information with accuracy and empathy.

The role requires strong nursing practice knowledge, great interpersonal skills, teamwork, and proficiency with EHR systems. Onboarding includes 2–3 shifts per week for 3–4 months, transitioning to PRN as staffing allows.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in NE.
• 1-2 years experience as a Pediatric Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
• First aid/CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors patients for reactions or side effects.
• Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitors, documents, and reports symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Modifies patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
• Prepares patients for and assists with examinations or treatments.
• Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisor
• Pull phone messages and respond to patient phone calls and portal messages
