Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our pediatric health care team. The RN provides safe, family-centered care using the Nursing Care Process and collaborates with patients, families and the care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a current Washington RN license, and BLS as a baseline credential; PEARS/PALS may be accepted where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• WA RN license (or eligible) and current BLS.
• PALS/PEARS may be substituted for BLS as allowed by practice area.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, family-centered patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in collaboration with patient, family and care team.
• Supervise/delegate tasks to other care staff as defined by state rules.
