Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking a registered nurse to join the health care team, delivering family-centered, evidence-based pediatric care. The RN will apply the Nursing Care Process with collaboration from patients, families, and the health care team.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, with potential supervision of nursing staff. Commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Pediatric healthcare experience may be required for specific departments.
• Current Washington State RN license; BLS required for all positions; PEARS/PALS accepted in lieu of BLS in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, family-centered patient care using the Nursing Care Process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
• May supervise and delegate tasks to Nurse Technicians and other nursing staff.
• Support CPI, value-based behaviors, error prevention, patient safety, and IDEA initiatives.
