Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ, and Banner Children’s Hospital at Thunderbird are seeking a Pediatric Nurse to care for children from birth through late teens in a 40+ bed pediatric unit. Prior pediatric RN experience is preferred, with opportunities to obtain pediatric certifications.

The role is full-time, day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with self-scheduling and differential pay for weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Pediatric RN experience preferred.
• Eligible to obtain pediatric certifications.
• Full-time DAY shift, 7:00AM–7:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients across pediatric age groups.
• Formulate and update a care plan with input from patient, family, and health team.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care, delegating tasks consistent with policies and standards.
