AdventHealth in Daytona Beach seeks a pediatric nurse to participate in quality improvement and deliver comprehensive care to neonates, children, and adolescents. You will recognize deterioration, educate families, and follow safety protocols while coordinating care with the health team.

The role involves administering treatments, documenting orders, and ensuring smooth discharge planning. Requires RN licensure, BLS, and PALS, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Participates in quality improvement activities and reports concerns regarding patient care quality.
• Recognizes signs of deterioration and escalates care appropriately.
• Involves and educates parents/caregivers in the child’s plan of care.
• Administers IVs, medications, and treatments per nursing standards and protocols.
• Documents physician orders accurately and timely.
• Maintains infection control policies and safe environment.
• Addresses discharge planning and patient/family education needs.
