Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with BSN to be completed within 5 years (per policy)
• 1 year of experience in a critical care setting or CCU fellowship preferred
• Licensed or eligible for Virginia RN licensure (active multi-state license acceptable)
• BLS required; PALS within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data to inform plans of care
• Forms individualized care plans based on assessments and population trends
• Delivers patient and family‑centered care while coordinating with the healthcare team
• Advocates for patient rights and serves as a resource to resolve issues
• Coordinates care across disciplines to ensure smooth transitions and outcomes
• Documents all patient care activities and supports team in documentation
• Evaluates outcomes and revises plans of care as needed
• Ensures evidence‑based practice and ongoing professional development
