Job summary

Inova Health System’s L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital in Falls Church, VA, seeks a Day/Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU).

The role covers rotation across day and night shifts with sign-on and relocation bonuses. You will provide holistic, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists.

Qualifications

• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Virginia RN licensure or eligibility (multi-state license).

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data.
• Develops individualized plans of care based on assessments.
• Delivers patient- and family-centered care and coordinates transitions.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintains documentation of care activities and outcomes.
• Supports clinical education and acts as a resource to staff.
