University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria seeks candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate/Professor-Pediatric Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Illinois, Peoria.

The role provides ambulatory and inpatient care to pediatric rheumatology patients, with opportunities in education, research, and collaboration with OSF and Carle networks. Salary is $175,500–$216,233 per year.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree is required.
• BC/BE Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Rheumatology certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute and ongoing consultative care to pediatric rheumatology patients in hospital and outpatient settings.
• Participate in education and training programs for medical students, residents, and fellows in Pediatrics.
• Participate in collaborative research activities within the Division of Rheumatology and the department.
• Perform duties of a university faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development, and student counseling.
