St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, part of Tower Health, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to assess patients and evaluate data to guide prescribed respiratory care. The role includes developing and delivering care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position oversees ventilator management, oxygen therapy, specialized gas administration, and aerosolized medications, while coordinating with staff and departments to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with required competencies.
• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• PA Respiratory Therapist License, BLS Certification, NBRC Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT).

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition and evaluates data to determine the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory care.
• Develop and deliver the respiratory care plan in accordance with department policies and procedures.
• Oversee all aspects of Respiratory Care department including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and specialty gas administration.
• Provide chest physiotherapy, blood gas analysis, and aerosolized medication therapy.
• Serve as a clinical resource and respond to calls/pages from staff and other disciplines; report to Department Manager.
