Qualifications

• Requires Healthcare Provider Certification and passing of the N.B.R.C. registry exam within 6 months.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical specialists for patient care.
• Participate in bedside rounds and advocate for patients.

Skills

Strong customer service skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR

Education

Graduation from a CoARC accredited respiratory care program

Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Indiana
