Qualifications

• Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program by an accredited school.
• Education: Associate degree. Eligible for Respiratory Care Practitioner temporary license in state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care procedures per physician orders and department policy.
• Initiate, monitor and manage patients requiring invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
• Obtain blood gasses from all sites and analyze results.
• Document and charge all respiratory care procedures; educate patients and families.
• Communicate with the health care team; provide accurate reports and recommendations.
