Cross Country Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) for night shifts in an acute care hospital setting.

The role requires BLS and RRT certifications and an active Illinois license, with at least 1 year of pediatric experience and proficiency in airway management, suctioning, nebulizers, oxygen therapy and ventilator management. The RT will float within scope as needed and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS and RRT certifications; active Illinois license; at least 1 year of pediatric-focused RT experience in acute care.
• Experience in adult critical care and emergency department settings; proficiency with airway management devices, suctioning, nebulizers, oxygen therapy and ventilator management.

Responsibilities

• Will float within scope as needed, including intra‑departmental flexibility, and work as part of interdisciplinary teams supporting adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations.
