Job summary

Cross Country Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) for a pediatric critical care setting in Illinois. The role covers PICU/NICU, with 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and a minimum 36 hours per week. Requires 2+ years of pediatric acute care RRT experience and an active IL RRT license.

Travel experience is required. Vaccination documentation (flu and COVID-19) must be provided. EPIC is used for the EMR system, with possible float rotations.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
• Current BLS, PALS; NRP for NICU assignments.
• Minimum 2 years pediatric acute care RRT in PICU/NICU.
• Recent pediatric ICU RRT experience within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory therapy in PICU and NICU.
• Maintain required licensure, certifications and documentation.
• Collaborate with pediatric ICU care teams to optimize patient care.
• Float rotation may be required.
