Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality respiratory care to diverse patients from newborns to adults. You will work with a preceptor as a new graduate and build competencies in equipment, treatments, and patient assessment within a hospital setting.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, CRT-level certification, and a Wisconsin license in process, with BLS ready within 30 days of hire and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with a minimum of an Associate's Degree.
• Must have NBRC credentialing exam at CRT level or higher.
• Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner license in process.
• Clinical hospital or home care experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality respiratory care to patients from neonate to adult and families per policies.
• Work under supervision for new graduates and build competencies with a preceptor.
• Develop skills in respiratory equipment, treatments, and patient assessment in a hospital setting.
