Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Graduate Respiratory Therapist in Milwaukee. Recent graduates will work under supervision to apply school-taught skills in real hospital patient care, building competencies in respiratory equipment, treatments and assessments.

The role requires NBRC CRT-level readiness, Wisconsin licensure in process, and CPR/BLS within 30 days. Night shifts with premium pay and a sign-on bonus are available, with a robust orientation program and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with an Associate's Degree (required).
• NBRC CRT credentialing exam proof required prior to start; Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner license in process.
• Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients from neonate to adult per policies and procedures.
• Work under the supervision of a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Build competencies in equipment, treatments and patient assessment with a preceptor.
