Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care as assigned by supervisors and physician orders.
• Administer therapies: IS, HHN, ventilator therapy, oxygen devices, and related procedures.
• Set up gas cylinders, oxygen devices, and ensure safety measures.
• Perform arterial punctures and capillary gases as ordered and documented.
• Respond as code team member; maintain CPR readiness and function according to protocol.
• Maintain and troubleshoot blood gas analyzers and related quality controls.
• Set up and maintain heliox and airway devices; assist nursing with device management.
• Ensure endotracheal tube/LMA management and documentation when applicable.
