Job summary

Broward Children’s Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care and ventilatory management for pediatric residents at the Pompano Beach facility.

The role requires an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy and a Florida CRT license (or eligibility). You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation of all respiratory care procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current Florida CRT license or eligibility required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintains life support systems and ventilatory equipment.
• Performs assessments and monitors patient respiratory status.
• Documents clinical findings and care plans in medical records.
• Provides respiratory procedures and interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure patient safety.
