Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist I to provide acute and emergency-level respiratory care under supervision across our pediatric units, including NICU and PICU, within a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in respiratory therapy (Required).
• CRT license in DC (Required).
• BLS and PALS certifications (Required).

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory assessments and identifies changes in patients' respiratory status.
• Provides prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies, including oxygen therapy and airway clearance.
• Monitors patients before, during, and after respiratory procedures and evaluates response to therapy.
• Operates, troubleshoots, cleans, and maintains respiratory care equipment.
