Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Applied Science and Respiratory Therapy.
• Current New York State Respiratory Therapist License.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (BCLS).
• 1-2 years of hospital-based experience.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under physician direction, perform respiratory treatments and therapies.
• Clinically supervise and monitor Respiratory Technicians per licensure law.
• Assess modalities and recommend changes in care delivery.
• Assist in transporting incubated pediatric patients safely.
• Provide ventilation and oxygenation to pediatric patients as required.
