Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Research Administrative Assistant to support behavioral research activities. You will assist investigators and the study team in implementation, coordination, and conduct of research, ensuring adherence to research ethics and study timelines.

The role involves scheduling, literature searches, data collection, and managing regulatory documents, with opportunities for professional development within a pediatric research environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree and experience/training in research preferred.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Some knowledge of FDA, HSR, and GCP guidelines.
• Some analytical skills and adaptability to various systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative tasks to support the research team (scheduling, ordering, printing, filing).
• Assists with literature searches, QA/QC procedures, and timelines.
• Maintains study and regulatory documents and assists with start-up.
• Schedules study visits and delivers behavioral interventions in coordination with the PI.
• Prepares consent forms and data collection materials for visits.
• Assists in collecting data from participants and medical records as authorized.
• Supports data entry and maintains databases.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and orders as required.
• Engages in professional development via meetings and seminars.
