Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• BSN required.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Appropriate professional certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager by coordinating patient care and staffing.
• Supervises nursing personnel and participates in hiring decisions.
• Facilitates staff huddles and communication across shifts.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and policies.
• Rounds on patients, staff, and physicians to assess care quality.
• Delegates care activities to appropriate staff within policy.
