Job summary

Children’s Minnesota is seeking a Casual Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join the pediatric rehabilitation medicine program in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves managing complex patient care, evaluating pediatric patients with rehab needs, and delivering rehabilitation expertise in collaboration with the rehab team.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s or higher degree in nursing with NP certification, Minnesota RN or APRN license, and current BLS, with experience in pediatric rehab,

Qualifications

• Master's or higher degree in nursing with a focus on clinical specialization; Nurse Practitioner.
• Current Minnesota RN or APRN license; pediatric nursing certification (PNCB or ANCC).
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in pediatric rehab, neurology, or orthopedics preferred.
• Good communication, flexibility and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation care for pediatric patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Evaluate patients with complex rehab needs.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation care team and families.
• Deliver rehabilitation expertise to other health care providers.
