Job summary

Flexible Availability - Monday - Friday - Per Diem

Shifts: 7:30am - 6:00pm

Bilingual Preferred, Not Required.

At NBCH we provide high quality care to meet the needs of our diverse patients. We offer a variety of services to the community, including Primary & Urgent care, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Adult Medicine, Behavioral Health, Dental Care and Office-Based Addiction Treatment.

As a critical member of the patient care team, Pediatric Registered Nurses (RN) are responsible for providing age-appropriate care to patients in his/her practice setting.

  6. Someone resourceful who assists in initiating referrals and utilizing available resources within and outside the facility.
  7. A problem solver who assists providers with developing short and long-term goals and involves the patient and family in care plans.
  8. Someone confident in clinical abilities to administer immunizations/treatments, perform diagnostic tests: EKG’s, Holter Monitors, hearing/vision tests and CLIA waived testing.
  9. A patient champion who defends and preserves the rights of patients.
  10. Someone organized who can order/stock immunizations; confirm expiration dates on a consistent basis and dispose of expired stock.
  11. A teacher at heart who can contribute to the orientation of new nurses and provide direction for medical assistants.
  12. Someone tech savvy who will document in the electronic health record, prepare test results, and document in patient encounter forms.
  13. Someone who can prioritize patient phone calls and determine the need for immediate medical care, assist with procedures, and process refills.
Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • Registered Nurse - Current MA License. BSN preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Community Health and/or triage nursing preferred.
  • CPR/AED certified
  • A plus to be bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, Creole or Kekchi
