Detroit Medical Center (DMC) Registered Nurse (RN) is a key member of the Patient Care Services Team, providing nursing care to a group of patients and their families with independent judgment and collaboration across the care team.

RN leads, teaches, and supervises, coordinating care with physicians and support staff to ensure safe discharge planning and high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Michigan is required.
• BSN preferred but not mandatory.
• AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares for discharge.
• Reports to senior unit management and participates in shared decision‑making.
