Job summary

Intellistars ABA in Pendergrass, GA seeks a motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision, primarily for children with developmental disabilities.

The role focuses on data collection, family education, and collaboration with a care team to support therapy goals and maintain HIPAA-compliant records. Must be able to commute and dedicate to a supportive, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RBT certification.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality and documentation.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially children.
• Proven data collection skills to monitor progress.
• Ability to educate clients and families on behavior management.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining medical records and care plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A passion for helping others through behavioral therapy.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Assist in developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Educate clients and families about behavioral strategies and interventions.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure cohesive care.
• Provide support during therapy sessions and ensure a safe environment.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance behavioral therapy skills.
