Job summary

The Registered Behavior Technician position at STAR ABA LLC in Sugar Land, TX offers per diem work with pay ranging from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour. • Bachelors degree in human services required.
• Associates degree with relevant experience required.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements intervention strategies under supervision of a BCBA.
• Teaches targeted behaviors using ABA techniques.
• Records and tracks data from training sessions.
• Reinforces positive behavior with clients.
• Communicates with administrators, parents and community members.
• Provides accurate documentation of goals and progress.
• Facilitates transitions between programs and services.
• Identifies emergencies and ensures client safety.
• Delivers direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Follows prescribed protocols for skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Collects and summarizes observable client data.
• Aids parent/caregiver training aligned with treatment plans.
• Maintains progress communication with families as directed by the BCBA.
• Other duties as assigned.
