Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Routine pediatric imaging with focus on orthopedic, spinal injury, and burns.
• Verify patient identification and radiology order prior to imaging.
• Communicate information and assist patient, family, and coworkers before exams.
• Position patients to obtain correct radiographs as ordered by physician.
• Adhere to safety regulations and protect patients, families, and staff from radiation exposure.
• Use ALARA principles and lead shields as needed.
• Verify non-pregnancy state for females of child bearing age prior to exam.
• Document PACS, RADNET, and EHR entries accurately.
• Complete CD production for outside studies and surgeries with proper documentation.
