Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist at Riverton to perform diagnostic imaging exams with a focus on quality and safety. You will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and staff in a fast-paced clinical setting, supporting pediatric clinics and InstaCare.

Responsibilities include maintaining competency, patient preparation, image review, and ensuring safety. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• State license to practice radiologic technology (if applicable).
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• May need MA competency checklist; may function as MA in clinic/InstaCare.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency in clinical/technical functions.
• Verify patient identity and orders; prepare patient for exam.
• Perform exams per protocol; review images for quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits; aid and mentor students/colleagues.
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort; address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and adverse reactions.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and report failures.
