Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for a pediatric-focused clinic and InstaCare support. The role requires maintaining competency, preparing patients, and delivering high-quality images while upholding safety standards.

You will work Mon-Fri in Riverton, UT, with opportunities to assist students and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians in a fast-paced environment. Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required for radiologic practice.
• State radiologic license where practicing, if applicable.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• May need MA Competency Checklist and MA function in clinic/InstaCare.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in clinical functions.
• Prepare patient, verify identity, and ensure exam readiness.
• Perform exams per protocol; review images for quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits; assist/instruct students and staff.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and any adverse reactions.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and reporting equipment failures.
