Job summary

Advocate Health Care Navicent Health Medical Center in Macon, GA is seeking a PRN Diagnostic Radiology Technologist for Pediatrics. You will perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, verify patient identity, prepare contrast media, and collaborate with radiologists.

Must be ARRT-recognized program graduate, registry eligible within 1 year, and hold BLS. This position requires physical stamina and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of the procedure and demonstrates proper positioning.
