The Department of Imaging Sciences seeks an ABR certified or eligible radiologist to join the division of Pediatric Radiology at URMC. Our hospital is the only Level 1 trauma center in the Rochester region. The Golisano Children’s Hospital, a nationally ranked, freestanding acute care children’s hospital, is the primary location for onsite Pediatric Radiology. The hospital features advanced imaging technology, including dual-energy CT and one of the country’s only PET/MRI scanners embedded within a children’s hospital. Additionally, URMC hosts the region’s largest NICU and PICU, and performs most complicated cardiac surgeries in Western NY.

Compensation and benefits are highly competitive, including 403B and 457 plans, disability insurance, and tuition benefits. As a non-profit institution, service time may qualify for the public service federal loan forgiveness program. Faculty members enjoy academic, conference, and vacation time, with professional activities supported by a generous, individually managed professional account. The division maintains an average of one day per week dedicated to academic and administrative activities to support career development.
