Qualifications

• Texas CMRT license current and unrestricted.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with high-quality images and proper patient positioning.
• Review physician orders, verify patient identification, and select imaging techniques per patient needs.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, families, and staff.
• Assess and monitor patients during imaging, adjust as needed for safety and accuracy.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, physicians and health-care team members.
• Evaluate images for quality and determine if additional imaging is needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of imaging procedures and patient care.
• Assist with equipment quality assurance, safety checks, and department improvement initiatives.
