Job summary
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Division of Translational and Clinical Pharmacology.
The successful candidate will develop an independent, externally funded program exploring how drugs, environmental exposures, nutrition, and microbiome-derived factors influence child health using NAMs and AI/ML frameworks.
Qualifications
- PhD, PharmD/PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in quantitative pharmacology or toxicology with complementary expertise in exposomics, proteomics, metabolomics, AI/ML, quantitative modeling, systems biology, computational sciences, or related disciplines.
- Strong publication record and potential to secure extramural funding.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead an independent, externally funded research program.
- Conduct innovative research in pediatric pharmacology, toxicology, multi-omics integration, AI/ML, PBPK/PKPD/QSP, and mechanistic modeling.
- Translate NAM-derived data to human and pediatric populations; connect experimental models with omics data and clinical outcomes.
- Mentor graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty; collaborate across TCP and UC.
