Job summary

Angel Kids Pediatrics, Jacksonville, seeks a full-time Quality Improvement Specialist to lead data-driven quality initiatives across our pediatric clinics. You will coordinate with managed care partners, analyze reports, and drive training and policy development to reduce care gaps and improve HEDIS measures.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in health care or public health, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent healthcare/public health experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications across Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly meetings with managed care companies.
• Analyze monthly quality reports to identify improvement needs.
• Run and compare reports from Practice management software and insurance data.
• Conduct chart reviews and assist with claim corrections as needed.
• Coordinate training initiatives based on measured outcomes across the practice.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to quality improvement.
• Deliver training sessions for new QI initiatives to staff.
• Gather and analyze data from internal/external sources to identify trends.
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations to the QI team.
• Close care gaps and reconcile HEDIS measures.
